Youmeo

  • Youmeo is currently undergoing a Gok Wan type makeover and we will be bringing it back on April 9th 6.30PM BST to selected “BETA testers”.
If you’d like to try out the site before anyone else and give us a little help squashing bugs, then feel free to request an invite to the BETA site.
We’re really excited and hope you are too!

  • Updates To Date

    Hello Ladies & Gents,

Recently we’ve begun a quest threw time and space to find out what would suit our users the best when using Youmeo. In essence we’ve been testing usability but that words too boring - agreed?

Under scrutiny this past couple of weeks have been the Your Home area, the overall Homepage and how a user navigates around the site. So there has been a lot of meetings where we’ve doodled down on bits of paper ideas and now they’re all being Photoshopped and put into production.

So be on the lookout for some pretty major changes coming in the next few weeks.

  • Squish!

It’s been quite a random week, things working then deciding they would rather not work. Pieces of code randomly generating themselves then vanishing when you reload. Still we’ve went through with our fly swatter squishing and squashing anything that’s popped up and I think it’s fair to say we’ve niggled most of them out of the system. Saying that they’re not all gone yet, we have some squatters that we need to have a word with before they’ll leave us be.

We would like to thank all BETA testers who have been giving us great feedback on the issues they had spotted and the bloggers for doing some great posts about the site. Your contributions haven’t been ignored.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped out and we’ll be posting here more in the future about our development and plans!

    Chow!
